My physics class is not what I thought I had signed up for. I was so eager to do the class in the first place because it was always talked about on one of my favorite shows "The Big Bang Theory". I thought that it was going to be a bunch of science but then our teacher , Ms. Hudson started to introduce numbers into the equation (no pun intended). At first it seemed like Chemistry, but as we learned more I realized it's nothing like chemistry. Physics is more like math, and I was confused because I thought it was a science class. Ms. Hudson told me that math connects to every subject in a way, but I still did not understand why we were doing math in a science class. I try and try in that class until I feel like giving up. What makes it even worse is that I'm a senior in a class filled with a majority of juniors. There is one junior in particular who always decides to shout out her answers like the rest of us are stupid. There's nothing wrong with being smart, but overdoing it is unecessary.
Physics class makes me question my very existence. However it also makes me think of things in different ways. Also, when I don't get answers right, Ms. Hudson talks to me in an accent and she makes weird faces at me. I'm actually really happy she's my physics teacher.
I completely agree with you about thinking it was all science until Ms. Hudson introduced math, but I hope it gets better. I thought we was going to do all types of experiments.
ReplyDeleteIm glad that you found something good out of physics. I dont take the class but I know that physics is definently not like chemistry or math. It involves a lot of numbers and equations.
ReplyDeleteIm proud that even though you working hard in physics and sometimes you may get confused or even stuck. You still got the strength to keep going at it and I know how it is, but you can you do it!
ReplyDeleteAlthough you had your own perception about physics, I can tell that you are learning something interesting by what you said "Physics class makes me question my very existence. However it also makes me think of things in different ways", although it's not like the t.v. show with a lot of science.
ReplyDeleteReyna you are 100% percent true . We both in physics it's just like another math class on top on Pre-Cal , very little science but hopefully we start getting more into the science field and start doing crazy experiments
ReplyDeleteSince the class purposes a challenge for you it means you work hard to prove that you can get through any obstacle in your way.
ReplyDeleteYour blog was really nice
ReplyDeleteI love "The Big Theory" too! I think that the physics were taught is probably a different kind of physics that the show implies though. :(
ReplyDeleteAlthough you may feel like giving up sometimes please don't. Keep trying because it may benefit you in the future. I don't take physics so I can't relate but you still need to pass so don't stop.
ReplyDeleteI can connect with how you feel about your physics class not being what you expected it to be. I felt that Biology was going to be mainly about humans; however, it is about all aspects of life in full detail. This never really came as a major disappointment but I was not really expecting the in depth conversations of photosynthesis and water molecules.
ReplyDeletei'M SO EXCITED I DO NOT HAVE PHYSICS!!! I'D FAIL EVERY MARKING PERIOD. IT'S VERY HARD TO LEARN FROM MS.HUDSON... I DON'T THINK SHE LIKES ME VERY MUCH.
ReplyDeleteI remember liking physics in high school. I was a lot of math though. I'm glad Ms. Hudson is able to help you!
