The Cheetah Girls

I may be corny for writing about a Disney Channel movie , but when it reminds you of  simpler times, it makes you feel better just thinking about it. The Cheetah Girls is a movie /musical about four friends in a girl singing group. The four girls are Galleria (the "leader"), Chanel (the soft spoken one), Aqua (the outspoken one), and Dorinda (a foster child who is also a really great dancer). The girls are so talented, they get discovered by the owner of a record company. The owner wants to change the Cheetah girls into something completely different than who they really are. Galleria wants to make all of the decisions for everyone in the group, so they leave her. After Galleria is kicked out of the group, they all go their separate ways. One day Galleria's dog gets stuck in the sewer, so all the girls come to her rescue until they get her dog out. Then they break out into a song and they're friends again.
Then blah, blah, blah long story short you think it's all about friendship. Part of the main lesson is friendship, but it's deeper than that. The main lesson is : A strong bond is made from a relationship where people let others think for themselves and be independent. Working together is effective too, but only to a certain extent. The movie also reminds me of when I was little, and my cousins and I would act out the whole movie.
