In Math, Ms. Rios I am forced to learn all these formulas, and principles. In Physics, I simply have another math class, but Ms. Hudson calls it a math based science. I just love Mr. Dejean's class, because I get a good grade for doing something that I love to do. Ms. Tomlin is very high maintenance, and I hate history, but I enjoy her class because its one of the few classes that is helping me for college. Ms. Hegeman's class is also helping to prepare me for college, but the grading somewhat upsets me. I am just hoping to pass all of my classes and succeeding in doing so.

These teachers...
This blog is not a typical class related response. It is not related to one, as it applies to every single one of my classes this year. I always tend to slack off when I realize that I'm working very hard in a class. I'm very lazy at times, and that results in my downfall. When I actually feel as though I'm not paying attention to class, I actually figure out that I do know the material. Tests, and sometimes even quizzes, or class discussions help me to realize that I know more than I think I do. It also doesn't help being in class when I have an attention span as short as I am (that was a joke). I am very easily distracted when it comes to just about everything. Even when I was taking the SATs, I wasted time to look at a bird flying out the window. Birds fly everyday, but I just thought it was so interesting at the time.

I completly understand you Reyna. Lately, I feel a bit stressed out because of all this work, assignments, project, regents on mind, work and just thinking about it all at once feels horrible. But, they always say have a positive mind and take it easy one by one. Don't quit no matter how hard it can be, you are a very smart girl and have many good things coming towards your way of success!
ReplyDeleteWere on the same page Rayna. I have been stressing too about the classes. But I believe that its good practice for college. Only difference is that were not going to have the stress of going to school EVERY DAY! and the best part is were only going to have classes, we are no longer going to feel the pressure of getting accepted into a college and worry about this transition from a high school child to a young adult in college. My personal advice is to have a self-care day like once a month, just one whole day away from everything and everyone, a day just for you. Do the things that make you happy and relax.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to this because I'm struggling in school with all these assignments, projects, homework, college stuff, and our social life. I feel like the teachers are making us into education slaves and don't give us time for fun or for things we want to do. I know a lot of students are seriously stressed out in our senior year and we are only a few months away. We just all have to get through this and hopefully it pays off in the long run.
